Radiation transmission tests
Test for welding defects in fabricated parts
According to the drawing instructions for a fabricated part, a radiation transmission test was requested and carried out to investigate defects in the welding area. This test is necessary to ascertain the internal state of the part, in addition to the inspection using penetrant or magnetic powder to inspect the part from the surface. A neighbouring inspection company was commissioned to inspect the parts. The inspectors wore dosimeters to measure their exposure. There is attenuation due to distance and shielding, but it is still scary because it is invisible.

InspectionVarious tests, analyses and analyses carried out
The film taken is read and found to be free from any abnormalities. With these results, machining can continue. As well as inspections based on drawing instructions, various analyses required for repairs, analysis of defects caused by dimensional and geometric tolerances, etc., are adapted for various inspections, analyses and analyses for machine maintenance.
