The feeder that transports powder and the reduction gear installed at the bottom of the machine were serviced. The machine was initially brought in for repair of an oil leak from the input shaft of the reducer, but during the inspection it was found that the gears, feeder shaft and other parts needed repair, so the entire machine was serviced.
Feeder brought in and disassembled
Remove the electric motor immediately. The upper side seems to be the feeder and the lower side is the reducer.
When the electric motor is removed, oil is leaking. We assume that the oil seal is defective, so we disassemble it further
The feeder is clogged with powder. Clean up the powder and proceed with disassembly
Dust is mixed in the oil. Considering contamination from feeder or defective dust seal, proceed to inspection
