Servicing of rotary valves used for powder conveying disassembly and inspection

This is the most common machine used to convey raw materials and products to the pipework. Conveying is carried out by means of a fixed case and rotating blades. The shape of the blades, case material and dimensions vary according to the hardness and properties of the material being conveyed, so repair work is carried out with care to increase the capacity of the repaired product.

Repair defective parts

Wear is visible, but the damage is not so severe that it cannot be repaired. After repairing the overlay, the gap between the rotor and case was adjusted by machining, with a proposal to bring the valve closer to its original performance.

The worn rotor was welded overlayed with a special material and machined to restore its dimensions.
The case was also restored to a cylindrical shape by machining to suit the rotor.

Assembly and painting

Assembly is carried out using the rpaired parts
The system has been touch-up painted and cleaned. Maintenance complete.
