Repair of Gear Pump Shaft

Gear pumps, characterized by their ability to maintain a constant discharge volume even under increasing pressure, are frequently used in high-load pressure transfer applications. This time, we performed plating repairs on the gear pump due to wear in the gland and bearing sections.

Condition prior to maintenance

Condition after repair

To achieve higher precision during plating application and in-process machining, we implemented additional processing steps after thorough evaluation. This enhanced precision and enabled flexible adaptation to the viscosity of transfer fluids during machining
