Maintenance of decommissioned actuators

Machine maintenance

A request was received to service an actuator used to control piping equipment. The unit would not move when the electric motor was rotated, so we asked for one set to be brought in to check the situation. After diagnosis, we found that servicing was required, so we removed everything, including the relay switch, and started work.

Unloading and disassembly

Gears and fits are inspected

Having completed disassembly, each component part is inspected. As there are a large number of parts, the condition of each of the component gears and the state of their fit together are assessed. As each element affects each other, the inspection of this device, which has a large number of parts, was carried out with great care and it was decided that two repairs and the manufacture of four parts were necessary.

Suitable for machines with various gear combinations

Not only machines with a combination of similar gears, but also complex mechanisms with a combination of different gears can be serviced while assessing the different gearing elements. While assessing production, diversion and repair, maintenance can be carried out on time and at an appropriate cost, taking the budget into account.
