Training courses at Noka University – Training in machine maintenance technology at production sites
Attending lectures at the university with colleagues
I participated in a training course on machine maintenance technology, a course held at the China Vocational Ability Development University in Tamashima, a neighbouring town about 10 km from the company. The lectures lasted for two days together with my colleagues. The content covered a wide range of topics, from maintenance of hydraulic cylinders, couplings and other power equipment, and examples of bearing damage, to vibration diagnosis. The lecturers gave very detailed technical and engineering explanations throughout. It was a very useful lecture, as it gave me the feeling that I had a deeper understanding of the subject by putting it into my knowledge again, even though I thought I understood it and was doing my job.
